Your money, on your device.
Nova connects your bank and card accounts, sorts what you spend into envelopes, and keeps every transaction in a database on your phone — not on our servers.
Beta coming soon. Free during beta. Questions: support@alphanovaai.app
What Nova does
Four things, done properly. Nova is a tracking and budgeting tool — it does not move money, execute trades, or make payments.
Bank sync
Accounts connect once, then keep themselves current.
Bank connections are provided by Plaid. Your bank credentials are entered in Plaid's secure interface and are never seen or stored by Nova.
- Checking, savings and card accounts import automatically.
- Transactions are categorized by rules, with an optional AI pass for the ones rules can't place.
- A refund reduces the category it came from instead of inflating income.
A refund reduces the category it came from — it is never counted as income.
Envelope budgeting
“Left to spend” that already accounts for rent.
Nova separates committed money — rent, insurance, the bills you cannot skip — from variable spending. What's left over is genuinely free.
- Annual and quarterly bills are averaged across the months in between.
- Set a date and the charge lands in the exact month it is billed instead.
- Subscriptions are detected from recurring charges.
Investments
Import holdings from whatever your brokerage sends you.
A PDF statement, a photo, a screenshot, or a spreadsheet. Nothing is hardcoded to a specific firm — if you can export it, Nova can read it.
- Multi-account statements are split into their real accounts automatically.
- Prices update from ticker symbols only — no holdings or balances are sent.
Daily brief
A short read on the month, every morning.
Spent today, left this month, days remaining, and where a category is drifting. The brief is generated from aggregate figures — month totals, per-category totals, days left.
- No merchant names and no individual transactions are sent to produce it.
- Local explanations first; AI observations are clearly marked.
Their cost is spread evenly across months until you set one.
Excludes committed bills that are already set aside.
$310 by day 21 vs. $262 average at this point.
Privacy
Your financial data is stored on your device, not on our servers.
There is no Nova account. No email, no password, no profile. Transactions, budgets, goals, holdings and receipts live in a local database on your phone.
No account, no server copy
Nothing to sign up for and nothing to breach. Delete the app and the data goes with it.
Credentials stay with Plaid
Bank logins are entered inside Plaid's own interface. Nova never sees or stores them.
We name what leaves
Categorization sends merchant name and amount. The daily brief sends only totals. The privacy policy lists every endpoint.
No ads, no tracking SDK
We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers. This website loads no fonts, analytics or trackers from anywhere.
Built bilingual, not translated later
Nova ships in English and Spanish with US dollars and Mexican pesos, launching in both countries at the same time.
Español, de origen
Toda la aplicación y este sitio están en español mexicano. Ver el sitio en español.
USD and MXN
Currency is chosen at setup. It is a display setting, so it is fixed afterwards — changing it would silently reinterpret every stored amount.
